Auparavant usine de savon, cette friche industrielle était abandonnée depuis plus de 20 ans avec ses 850 tonnes de gravas qui servent de terrain de jeux dangereux aux enfants de ce quartier en pleine mutation. Le dessin de l’oeuvre reprend le plan de l’ancienne usine avec la volonté de transformer un lieu détruit par l’homme et d’en évoquer le passé à travers un espace coloré.

 

Once a soap factory, this industrial wildland has been abandoned for over 20 years. The 850 tons of rubble at the site have become a dangerous playground for kids in this neighborhood that’s changing. The design of the project was inspired by the original layout of the factory. The objective was to transform a site destroyed by man into a colorful, esthetically pleasing place, while preserving traces of the history of the factory.

Antiga fábrica de sabão, este terreno baldio industrial estava abandonado há mais de 20 anos. Com as suas 850 toneladas de entulho, este local se tornou um perigoso parque infantil para as crianças deste bairro em rápida mutação. A concepção da obra baseia-se no layout da antiga fábrica, com o objetivo de transformar um local destruído pelo homem, evocando o seu passado e historia, através de um espaço colorido.
